To register all candidates
must fulfill the two forms provided, (Inscription and Repertoire), and submitted with
the following information and documents:
1. A short curriculum vitae
2. A photocopy of the main page of the passport which should be valid through the end of the Competition.
3. Two (2) passport size photos and three (3) postcard size photos, black and white, all in glossy paper.
4. A description of the musical studies and names of the principal piano teachers.
5. The chosen repertoire with precise indications of title, key, opus number, and movements if it is a Sonata.
6. A DVD valid for the NTSC system of excellent quality with the recording of the pieces chosen for the Selection Round.
7. A non refundable registration fee, of Seventy Five Dollars (USA$ 75.00) must be sent, through any international bank with the following instructions: To the Citibank, N.A. New York (ABA 021-000-089) A/C Banco Aliado S.A., Panama, Acc. N° 36083741 for further Credit to Fundación Concursos Internacionales, Panama, Acct. N° 1510005293.
Mailing of Documents
All above mentioned
information and documents (including the DVD) with the receipt of the bank
transfer, must be sent by International Courier (DHL, FedEx, UPS or similar)
not later than June 15th, 2010 to the following address:

This
material and documents should not be
sent by regular mail.
Each
candidate will be notified of the results of the Selection Round on July 15th,
2010, by email.
Candidates
must keep photocopies of all documents as well as a copy of the DVD in case of loss.
The
Competition is not responsible for any loss in the mail.
Visas
The
Secretariat of the Competition will take care of all the visas provided a copy
of the main page of the contestant passport has been duly received.
The
candidate should not do any effort in this respect.
Caveat
Should a
contestant, once arrived in Panama, decide to withdraw from the Competition in
any of the trials, he or she will have to assume all lodging expenses should he
or she wish to stay until the end of the event. On the other hand, the
Foundation will cover all expenses until the end of the event should the
contestant decide to stay in spite of having been eliminated in any of the
Rounds. The Organization will not assume any expense before the 17th
and after the 27th October.
