Round. (Two Composers)
1. A Toccata to choose among the followings:
Schumann, Toccata Op. 7; Saint-Saens, Toccata Op. 111; Ravel, Toccata (from Le Tombeau de
Couperin) or Toccata Op. 11 by Prokofiev.
2. A Sonata among
the following: Weber: Sonata N° 3 Op. 49; Chopin: Sonata N° 2 Op. 35; Schumann:
Sonata in g minor Op. 28; Brahms: Sonata in F# Op. 2;
Scriabin: Sonata N° 3 Op. 23; Prokofiev: Sonata N° 8 Op. 84 and Henri Dutilleux: Sonata.
Final Round (Two Composers)
1. One works
among the following: Albéniz, any piece from the
third book of Iberia; Granados: One piece from Goyescas;
Rachmaninoff, one of the Moments Musicaux, Op. 16.
2. Any
transcription by: Liszt, Busoni, Godovski or
Rachmaninoff.
Important note:
As the winner of
the Competition should play one of the Concertos mentioned at the end of the Rules, all
candidates must specify in the Registration Form which work among those will
be chosen to play.
